Symptoms of a failing Pressure Chamber include:

  • Unexpected changes in the wash cycle, such as sudden stops or pauses.
  • The dishwasher not starting a wash cycle due to incorrect water level readings.

This genuine OEM Bosch part is also compatible with Thermador, Gaggenau and select Kenmore models.

I had to put their dishwasher through several wash cycles before I could pinpoint the location of the leak. (The water appeared to be coming from above on the left side of the DW, near the top, rear of the DW's blue "Pressure Chamber." I removed two sheet metal screws to remove the panel above the washing machine lid. That exposed four more phillips drive sheet metal screws, after removing those the dashboard control panel is held by two smaller black screws slightly recessed in the lower corners.
