A replacement cover for the left-front potentiometer switch that protects the control shaft and helps maintain knob alignment for reliable temperature adjustments. Fits where the potentiometer's outer trim or cap is cracked, worn, or missing. What it does

• Protects the potentiometer shaft and internal switch from debris and accidental contact
• Helps keep the control knob aligned and seated properly on the shaft
• Restores a finished appearance to the control panel around the left-front control
• Use when the existing cover is cracked, broken, loose, or missing

• Disconnect power to the appliance before beginning any work
• Remove the control knob and any trim or panel pieces as needed to access the potentiometer
• Align the cover over the potentiometer shaft and press or secure per OEM method; handle plastic parts carefully to avoid cracking

This is a redesigned kit. It is strongly recommended to have a certified Thermador technician install this kit as some modifications may be necessary.

The Spark Switch is an OEM part for Bosch ranges. This part ignites the burners by sending a signal to the spark module, which then produces the spark needed to ignite the gas.  

Causes of a bad spark switch can include wear and tear from regular use, damage from spills or cleaning agents, or electrical issues.  

Symptoms of a bad spark switch include:

• Burners not igniting
  Continuous clicking even after the knob is turned off
  No spark when attempting to ignite the burner
  The cooktop not producing a flame

This OEM Bosch part is also compatible with Thermador, Gaggenau, and some Kenmore models.
