John for Model Number SHU9915UC/11 My Bosch dishwasher impeller broke. I replaced the motor and pump assembly but the new motor (442548) has slightly different connections than the old motor. The connections on the motor are 3 2 4 1 from left to right. On my old motor, white/purple stripe on 3, purple on 2, black on 1. There was no connector for position 4. Connecting my wires on the new pump to 3 2 and 1 as was on the old motor, the dishwasher fills but doesn't circulate. Also on the videos online I noticed some have a blue wire connecting to the capacitor where my old pump assembly and capacitor didn't have it. So, what should the connections be so I can get this to work, or is this just a bad pump?
Answer John, the circulation motor 00239144 is recommended for use with the model number provided. Unfortunately, this part has been discontinued by the manufacturer and is no longer available. As the motor 00442548 is not shown as being used with the model provided, we would not be able to recommend how to wire it. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Wednesday, March 15, 2023
