Janiece S. for Model Number HMC80251UC/01 In 2016, we purchased the Bosch microwave/oven combo. Last spring, the light from the microwave is so dim you can barely make out the time. Two days ago, I set the timer on the microwave and it would only countdown on second then it stops working. Thank you
Answer Janiece, First check for the proper voltage, polarity, and ground at the outlet and the power into the microwave. Then check the wiring between the keypad and control board, check for loose connections, frayed, twisted, kinked wires. Then replace the 00771183 / 00771183 Pc Board, there would be a weak or "shorted" circuit in the board. Unfortunately, the control board is no longer available from the manufacturer. You may want to try contacting local parts dealers, one of them might still have it in stock. Enter your part number in a search engine, a smaller company might have it. Try eBay, Amazon or similar sites. Search by using the manufacturer's part number. Try a used appliance store, sometimes they have the same model or usable part for your machine. Contact refurbishing companies, especially for circuit boards: •www.circuitboardmedics.com www.corecentricsolutions.com could be a couple of companies to contact. Thanks, Read More...
