For Bosch Oven Display Repair Kit (Part Number: OEM14787276)

Jim, the LED display of this unit is going to be a part of the control assembly 00775085. In regards to why the manufacturer has built the displays differently, we would not be able to identify the reasoning.

Todd, Check under the control panel for screws that would hold it in place. Once you remove the screws you should be able to take the control off.

Janiece, First check for the proper voltage, polarity, and ground at the outlet and the power into the microwave. Then check the wiring between the keypad and control board, check for loose connections, frayed, twisted, kinked wires. Then replace the 00771183 / 00771183 Pc Board, there would be a weak or "shorted" circuit in the board. Unfortunately, the control board is no longer available from the manufacturer. You may want to try contacting local parts dealers, one of them might still have it in stock. Enter your part number in a search engine, a smaller company might have it. Try eBay, Amazon or similar sites. Search by using the manufacturer's part number. Try a used appliance store, sometimes they have the same model or usable part for your machine. Contact refurbishing companies, especially for circuit boards: •www.circuitboardmedics.com www.corecentricsolutions.com could be a couple of companies to contact. Thanks,

Brian for Model Number SC272TS

I purchased the replacement relay board with the display board back in 2014 from you guys (part#: AP4929089). After the install, only the lower oven would work. Given both ovens don't work at the time I moved in, I decided to just live with one oven. Now I am selling the house and need to get the upper works, but all the parts appear to be discontinued. My question - is this Oven Display Repair Kit suppose to also fix the upper oven, there is a separate upper relay board, but from looking at your part AP3383664, it's saying it's been replaced by the one I order. I might be able to get the upper relay board rebuild, but I'm curious if you know the relay board with the display kit is suppose to consolidate both the upper and lower boards? Thank you.

Brian, It appears that the other relay board is for the lower oven and the one that you replaced would be for the upper oven. Due to the parts being discontinued you would need to see if the board can be rebuilt.

Eric Philips for Model Number SCD302T S302T

My existing SCD302T is aged from years of cooking. A few months ago the upper oven started taking forever to preheat. Now it does not heat at all...except on rare occasion it will actually work. Leads me to believe its a board or relay problem. Some years ago it had the dim display issue and that was repaired. . It is still nice and bright to this day...but now it has the upper oven issue and the whole set is dirty and old! So now I have acquired a same age but like new and probably rarely to never cooked in S302T. Both ovens and broilers work great but the display is very dim. Can I take just the display from the SCD302T and install it on the S302T to fix the dim display issue?

Perijon for Model Number Thermador SCD272

My double oven had began working only intermittently from having power to no power at all. When power would return everything functioned normal, but would require resetting the clock. Thinking the control board was bad, I had the two control boards (for upper & lower oven) rebuilt as well as the ERC head. After re-installing & flipping the power breaker I began receiving an F7 code (never received any error codes before). Turned breaker off, check all the connections & powered up again. F7 code again. Powered off, re-checked connections & turned power back on. Oven is now back to having no power. I am wondering if I have a bad touch screen. Is there a way to test the touch display before spending $400 on a replacement? Thanks for your help.

1 Answer

Hello Perijon. F7: The control is reading a shorted key. Possible bad connection due to wiring harness to the touch control board or a bad touch control board. You need to check the connection between the control head and touch panel. If the connection is good, replace the touch panel since the control board has been repaired already.

Jan, It is very possible that the upper oven would not work but the lower oven would even with a relay board that has failed. The relay board has separate relays on it for bake and broil in each oven. Unfortunately the oven relay board for your unit has been discontinued by the manufacturer with no suitable replacement available.

Steve for Model Number Thermador Double oven SC302???

I cannot locate the model number on the oven but I believe it is a SC302. The oven will start beeping 15 minutes after the ovens have been shut-off. It seems to be heat related on the panel. To get around the problem we have been setting the oven to 100 for about 1/2 hour before shutting off and that seemed to work for awhile. It now will start beeping anytime (even 8 hours later) after it has been shut off and to reset I just select any of a few buttons. At times I have had to shut power off to reset it. Do I need to replace the oven display? If so how do I find my model number to insure I get the right display? Thanks

1 Answer

Hello Steve, We will have to have the correct model number to properly diagnose the issue. Some of these have the I.D. tag behind the kickpanel so there may be a bit of dis-assembly to access it but it is not hard to do. I have seen a few under the main top to one side. You may need to contact the manufacturer to locate it exactly. The issue sounds like a cooling fan not operating properly and possible a board not properly processing information, (maybe from excessive heat accumulation).
