Juan F for Model Number Thermador SC302T Built in Oven I replaced part # AP4929089 (actually two parts display and Board) and everything seems to be working for a little while. For example, I set the oven to pre-heat at 300 and when it gets to 290 it turns off and get error code F7. Obviously no one was leaning on the control panel for 32 seconds as the error code on the owner manual suggests. Not sure what is going on. I took pictures of every cable before disconnecting and re-connected the same way all of the many cables. Could it be a defective part or is it something else? Please Help as you can imagine wife is not too happy with my Do It Your Self initiative. Thanks,
Answer Juan, Before you replace the keypad / touchpanel 00368775, check and clean the touchpad ribbon end, and the control connection with some electrical contact cleaner, and make sure the connection is tight, when the ribbon is plugged into the connector. It the F7 code persists after that you'll need to replace the keypad control panel. Thanks Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Thursday, July 12, 2012
