Juan for Model Number SC302T I have replaced the ERC (AP 4929089) on a Thermador Dual Oven model SC302T because the display had gone totally dimmed. Everything seemed to be going fine but now the oven shuts down before it reached the preheat temperature. If I restart it, it does reach the preheat temperature. However, after 20-25 minutes the heat shuts down again. I am not getting any error codes so not sure what this could be. Is it possible that it is the temperature sensor (the oven is 12 years old)
Answer Hello Juan, I doubt the sensor is the issue as you would have gotten a fault code for it. It sounds like you need to double check the connections. If you got an instruction sheet with it, you should double check the wiring to be sure there were no deviations. If you find nothing, I recommend you return the board and re-order. Read More...
