Hello Terry, There is no soldering involved with this kit. It is a case of removing and reinstalling the display and relay board. This should be fully explained in the instruction sheet. The only thing I stress besides making sure the power to the unit is off before beginning is to take a series of pictures with your cell phone from different angles to aid in the re-assembly procedure. I also try to only remove and transfer only one wire at a time to ensure that, not only all wires are reconnected, but that they get connected to the correct terminals before re-introducing power to the unit.
