Matt B for Model Number PLD4375RFC0 The unit will not pump the water out. All the pump does is make a clicking sound. I took it off and had it tested and its fine. All the connections look good. Where do I go from here?
Answer Hello Matt. Check and make sure there is no clogs in the unit. If not, and you have tested to verify proper voltage to the pump, but the pump does not run, you will need to order and replace the drain pump assembly 154580301 on the unit. These can test good, but actually be bad. Be sure and verify the voltage coming to the pump and look for clogs before replacing the pump assembly. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...
