Jeff for Model Number fdb4050lhb1 Unit about 4 yrs old. Shut dishwasher door, hit start button, and unit does not start cycle. Control panel lights up for approx. 2 seconds then shuts down leaving control panel black. I have repeated process and continues same symptom .
Answer Hello Jeff. It sounds like either the control board or the door switches are bad on the unit. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3.
