Regina for Model Number FGHD2465NF The dishwasher would start running and then cut off and the LED would show PF. After doing this a couple of times the entire circuit that the dishwasher was on would not work. I talked to an electrician about this and after unplugging the dishwasher the rest of the circuit worked. The electrician tested the power going to the dishwasher and the resistance on the dishwasher and the power going to the dishwasher was fine but the resistance was extremely high. Does this mean that the board control is bad?
Answer Hello Regina, The first thing that raises a flag is the fact that the manufacturer requires that the unit be on a dedicated circuit. The board can have an issue, but until the unit is run on a dedicated circuit, there isn't much of a way of knowing if the unit has a problem or if the problem is installation related. Read More...
