This infinite switch controls the heat level of a stove's electric surface element, letting you adjust burner power from low to high for cooking precision and stable element operation. What it does:

  • Regulates voltage to a surface heating element so the burner heats at the selected setting
  • Allows smooth adjustment across low-to-high heat settings

Hi David. The alarm goes off even if there is a minute amount of internal groceries holding the door open, then this will sound the alarm. Open one door at a time and look at the side of it where it shuts against the cabinet. Most doors will "pull" themselves in as you get it within a couple of inches. Use a known good thermometer to put in the freezer and adjust the freezer no colder then 0°. Then put it in the fresh food and make sure it is between 37 and 47° as your controls are mid point. There are separate cavity sensor that ohms out to 10,000 ohms at 77 °. Use a volt/ohm meter part # MA-DM1 to assist you in your diagnostics. Check these at the main board on the fountain control back.
