  • Allows smooth adjustment across low-to-high heat settings
  • Commonly replaces a switch when a burner won't heat, only heats on certain settings, or won't turn off properly
  • Works with standard knob control interfaces to change element output
What's included:
  • 1 infinite switch for a single surface element
Install notes:
  • Disconnect power to the range at the breaker before servicing
  • Use insulated tools and avoid contact with terminal ends; verify power is off with a meter
  • Keep track of removed hardware and wire locations; take a photo before disassembly for reference

We have had the auger motor stop working in the ice dispenser. We have also lost the water dispenser function. We usually hear a solenoid fire when dispensing water but it is now silent. Are there functions of the bottom board-switch control board? I was wanting to replace this only since it is only $159.00. The front interface display appears to be functioning properly. I am told that if the issue is w/ the interface board you can't buy this separate. Just an fyi we have have had both boards replaced two times.

1 Answer

Bobby, Based on the issue with the unit, this would most likely be the user interface that is the issue and would be part number 5303918584.

Angela, Since you didn't mention any codes or erratic displays in the dispenser control panel, we would agree with you, and suspect the [AP4695229 241757001 Board-main power . It's located on the bottom of the refrigerator, behind the lower kick plate grille. The board circuitry could have failed or there may have been an electrical surge that may have damaged the control board.

i purchased from your comp a part# 5303918523. on the last step from the instructions, it tells me that the cabinet harness that connects to the J9 A1 will connect to the new board, not the jumper harness, but the is no place to plug the cabinet harness to the new board, just the connector that is attached to the jumper harness. So am i misunderstanding the last step instructions or do i just connect the cabinet harness to the last connector from the new harness? Also, on the new and old board, there is a 8 pin slender connector, (upper middle) location where the cabinet wires fit in, am I missing something or is it there just for decoration. This board is for my electrolux side by side with wave touch panel.

1 Answer

Homer, The 8 pin connector may not be needed as it may be for a different model. As for the cabinet harness, look for a connector that has J9 next to it and plug in the cabinet harness there and if there is a connector from the harness attached to it then you would disconnect the jumper harness.

Aid Appliances, You will connect the unit up with the harnesses that come with the part. There should have been instructions that would have come with the part.

My fridge had been acting up lately, the tempature on fridge used to go negative 30 in freezer but yet fridge goes like 50 degree. I had them set to 0 and 40. I have replaced both thermostat and now freezer stays right at 0, but fridge stays at 48 when its set to 40, and when i set it to 33, it actually brought temp down to 30, so i made it 34 or 35, it stays at 30ish. I am assuming that a circuit board is not working right. The door damper works fine. Which one of the board that controls the whole tempature in fridge so i can replace and bring it back to normal fuctioning, i have found 2 different boards there. It is interface circuit board part 242058232 or main power board part 242115260
