Robert H for Model Number PLES389DCC Oven was set to 400. Got F1 error and beeping. Turned power off to stop beeping. Now oven will turn on if requested temp not met but will not turn off at requested temp. Once element (bottom) is on it won't shut down. Also only lower element comes on and display does not show element on.
Answer Robert, The F1 error code indicates a runaway temperature. With the oven overheating you will want to test the oven sensor 316217002 for 1090 ohms of resistance and if outside this range then you would need to replace the oven sensor.
