Ben for Model Number CFW8000GW When not in use the pump runs constantly until the washer is unplugged. There are no lights on. When you turn on the washer and it try's to fill with water it can't because the pump runs and pumps the water out. When you turn the washer off the pump still runs. What could be the cause of this?
Answer Ben, You will want to check the wiring from the pump to the control board and look for broken or damaged wiring. If the wiring checks ok then the issue would be with the control board sending power to the pump when it is not calling for it. Read More...
