Harry for Model Number FTF2140FS1 my fridgadaire was not working at all . told door lock is bad. replaced. same results . machine will not start. next I replaced the control panel. when I push start the machine door lock come on and now the machine will fill for a short period of time and stop filling. now I am being told I have a clogged pump or the motor control board is bad. what should I check. thanks Harry
Answer Harry, if the washer will not pump out the water that is in the tub, it will not go into a spin cycle, then you would need to check the pump to see if it is plugged up.
