Bret for Model Number FFSS2615TSO My refrigerator has lost all power. The compressor and the fan in the back are dead as are the fans and lights inside the refrigerator and freezer. Sometimes I will get a dim flicker from one of the lights inside. Is this a fried control board part #A01078804? I tested power at the outlet and it's at 120v but there is no power to the compressor or fan in the back. Thanks, Bret
Answer Bret, as the lights, dispenser interface, and main control operate independently of each other, you may want to inspect the wiring going from the outlet to the controls as the lights directly receive 120VAC from the outlet through the door switch. While the temperature control A01078804 does control temperature, it would not stop voltage from going to the lights or the dispenser. It is possible that a power surge can cause a domino effect, and voltage checks at the temp control and the dispenser control can identify if there are any wiring problems up to each part.
