Scott for Model Number ffss2625ts0 i am getting H1 code on both freezer and refrigerator side of display... i believe that error code is an open thermistor.. but both sides going out at once leads me to believe it is a control board
Answer Scott, the error H1 is going to indicate a high temperature in the unit. It would be recommended that the evaporator is inspected to identify if it has become blocked up with ice or if there is very little Frost on the evaporator. If there is an ice block, there is a defrost failure that would need to be addressed. If there is less than half of the evaporator covered in a light frost coat and the compressor has been operating for more than an hour, the condenser coils are clogged up with dust or there is a sealed system failure.
