Dillon for Model Number FDBB1940DB40 My dishwasher recently quit washing the dishes. The washer is spraying, but it does not seem to have enough pressure to clean the dishes. I did a test, using lightly soiled dishes on the top and bottom rack (1-2 dishes each rack) and they both came out dirty, but wet. I was wondering if this is the unit the controls water pressure. I was also wondering if you had any other things that could be the problem. the unit is aprox 5 years old.
Answer Hello Dillon. First check and make sure the spray arms and sump assembly are clear of debris and cloggs. This part does not control the pressure, it is the drain pump for the machine. Here is the motor that sends the water to the spray arms. 154859101 Hope this helps. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Tuesday, March 15, 2011
