Suziq for Model Number FASE7021NW0 What a great resource this site is! My dryer won't turn on, no power whatsoever. We haven't blown a fuse in the electric box. The on switch makes a clicking noise, so it's probably ok (?). The open door indicator makes a clicking noise, so it's probably ok (?). Is there some way to diagnose further which fuse may not be working before I order parts?
Answer SuziQ, with a meter, it would be recommended that the terminal block where the dryer power cord connects to the dryer is tested for 240VAC from the red wire to the black wire, and 120VAC from the red wire to the white wire and black wire to the white wire. If there is proper voltage, the next step would be to test the main control 809160802 for 120VAC from the wire at connection J2 pin 4 to the wire at connection J2 pin 5. If there is 120VAC, the wires going to the user interface 137035290 would need to be inspected for any loose connections or pinched/broken wires. If these all check good, then it would be likely that the main control has failed. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Friday, November 6, 2020
