Bonnie for Model Number Frigidare CRWS5700AS0 My washer will fill, agitate, but will not pump the water out or spin. Timer does not advance past the wash cycle. I have tried to manually turn the timer switch and can turn it but no success. If this likely to be the timer, pump, or motor?
Answer Hi Bonnie. Remove the agitator and see if the trunnion lock plate that is 1" tall x 3" is off to one side with the bolt broken. If so then you will need the trunnion plate part # 137107000. @- bolts part # 137539500 and then the trunnion itself part # 131545101. I would use a volt/ohm meter part # MA-DM1 to assist. you in your diagnosis. The pump will drain the water first and then the basket will spin. Make sure that the pump is not clogged and is receiving the 120 vac from the timer during the drain mode. If not then replace the timer part # 134049600. If you have advanced it and it still does not work, do you hear the motor trying to spin ? Remove the belt and now try the timer. Does the motor spin now? If so the find out if there are any balled up clothes inside the inner and outer basket holding the inner basket taught. Thank You. Read More...
