Daniel for Model Number 790 71513400 My oven and broiler will not heat up, I turn on and set the temp. I hear a click and I see the heating element at the bottom in the broiler light up but not heating up. Could this be the oven temp Probe or something else?
Answer Hello Daniel. Test for 3.2-3.6 volts AC at the gas safety valve with the igniter turned on. If the voltage is there, you have a bad safety valve 3203459. If the voltage is low, you have a weak igniter 5303935066 and the igniter will need to be replaced. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter.
