Gerald for Model Number Frigidaire electric range LGEF 3043KFB Burned up a tray of cookies, got F10 error code. Replaced the temp probe with new one. Tried again, this time oven again got very hot and noticed the broiler element was red and on. I did not let it oven stay on to get an error code as it was very hot!! Do not think it should be on when baking. Not sure if it was on the first time temp went high (did not think to look) when cookies burned .. I checked the original probe and new one and both were within a few ohms of each other. Think I need a control panel replacement or is their something else to consider?? Gerald
Answer Gerald, You can test the resistance of the elements. You should read somewhere between 10 to 50 ohms. If they test well then you probably have a defective relay on the control board and it will need to be replaced. 5304510064 overlay for control 316419353. I always list the overlay because when you peel it off from the old control it will not stick to the new one. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Monday, November 23, 2020
