Michael F for Model Number LECR23EFE0 Ice maker recently stopped working. I can hold the internal power switch for 15 seconds, and the I/M goes through one of its cycles. The issue is that there is no water to the I/M. I have verified that the tube is clear. When I swap the yellow connector to the green solenoid, and press the paddle for the water, I can get the green solenoid to open and pass water all the way to the I/M. When I test the voltage to the green connector, the is no voltage, even when the speed ice option is chosen. If I order a replacement I/M, will this supple the voltage signal to the green connector to allow the solenoid to open and deliver water up to the ice maker? Thanks.
Answer Michael, Based on the description of what has already been done and the issue, this would be a faulty icemaker not calling for water at the specified time to produce ice. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Monday, April 13, 2015
