Dwayne for Model Number FRS26RLECST The refrigerator ice maker is not getting water. I have excellent water pressure and have validated that the water inlet valve is getting electricity. The water stream for the water thru the door is strong. It there a sensor in the ice maker that calls for water which could be bad or is the water inlet valve not working properly? I can pour water into the ice maker and it produces ice cubes so I don't think that the ice maker has gone bad.
Answer Dwayne, You will want to cycle the icemaker and make sure that there is 120 vac to the water valve. If there is but no water to the icemaker then check for the fill tube to be frozen and if it is not then it will be a faulty water valve. Read More...
