Norm C. for Model Number GLRS267ZDW4 I have a Frigidaire and was having problems with the ice maker. I just replaced the water supply valve PN 241734302 with a new part and it seems to be working great. I can disconnect the ice maker water supply line, and when the ice maker cycles there is good water flow for about 7 to 9 seconds, but I'm still not getting water in to the ice maker. What am I missing.
Answer Hello Norm, Check the fill tube at the back of the cabinet where the water pours in. Many times, when the water valve fails, the fill tube will freeze solid. If this ice is clear, it is invisible until you try to run something into the fill tube. If it is frozen, you can thaw it out in about 15 minutes by blowing it with a hair dryer. Read More...
