Antonio for Model Number LFMV164QFA Hi, I have a Frigidaire Micro oven - Model # LFMV164QFA. Manufactured Jan 2017 It does not warm up the food. The plate keeps turning but the food/ water does not get hot. Is it the switch. I have used it only for 2 months. Thanks Antonio
Answer Antonio, after leaving the unit unplugged for 10 minutes, the transformer 5304515184, magnetron 5304519335, capacitor 5304528930, and diode 5304509479 would need to be tested. The transformer primary windings (two terminals directly on the transformer) should measure .3 ohms, and the wire side windings should measure 118 ohms. The two-wire filament wires that are together should measure 0 ohms. The magnetron should measure less than 1 ohm from terminal to terminal, and 0L from the filament to the chassis. The capacitor should read several ohms initially and then start to read 0L. The diode would be tested for continuity and with the meter probes set to test the diode from one end to the other, and then reversed, the diode should read continuity in only one direction. If these all test good, then the issue would be in the relay to the transformer and the main control 5304477390 would need to be replaced. Read More...
