Angela for Model Number PDW7300G00WW Our dishwasher has stopped cleaning and the detergent just collects and dries. The heating element is still working. Afte taking the arms off and cleaning them, I took the Filter Fine Assembly off to clean it. While doing so, it appears that there is calcium or residue inside the part underneath the vinyl-like filters. Could this be causing the arms to not be getting enough pressure and therefore not spinning, and therefore not cleaning our dishes? The build-up in all of the arms and Filter Fine is a very strange matter. I first thought it was detergent but now wonder if it calcium. Any thoughts or suggestions on how to get all three arms to move and clean the Filter Fine Assembly?
Answer Hello Angela. It is very unlikely to cause that issue. If the float is good and clean, I would suggest replacing the water valve to get the correct amount of water into the unit to spray properly. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Wednesday, October 2, 2013
