Hello Paul. Shorted matrix or START key. Determine if problem is with key panel or control by disconnecting ribbon cable and measuring flat cable. Allow up to 1000 ohms when pressing a key. If so, replace the control panel. If panel is good, replace the board. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3.
