Tim for Model Number GE JVM1650BB 001 I recently purchased this kit and after installing it, the unit appears to overheat in 2-3 minutes, completely loses power and after 15-30 minutes will finally power itself back up. Any ideas on what is going on?
Answer Hi Tim. While replacing the magnetron did you reuse the magnetron thermostat that was mounted on the side of the magnetron ? Remove the upper grill and the upper control panel cover. Then remove the control panel upper screw. Lift up and out on the control assy. Mark and remove the wires and carefully lay aside. Then look at the fan electrical connections to see if they are unhooked or loose. This will overheat parts. Have you installed the upper stirrer blade correctly w/cHi Tim. I have known of slow blow fuses part # WB27X10928 about to go completely out then reattaching themselves. On the inside top to the lt. side there is a gas sensor that will monitor cavity issues and shut down the board like a black out also. It is part # WB27X1170. Thank You.over not hitting or dragging ?
