Greg for Model Number GFWN1100 L1WW This GE front loader will fill, agitate weakly for about 30-45 seconds, pump out, and then return to the "start" mode w/ the blinking start button. Cycle time advance 1-2 minutes. Using a troubleshooting guide, I got an error code E46 for motor. Going through the steps, I believe I have diagnosed a bad motor sensor, as the resistance between the two yellow leads at wiring harness p9 on the control panel is wide open, i.e no resistance. I verified that the control panel is sending power to the motor by checking for 120V at the inverter plug during service code test t11, and the motor sometimes runs during this service code test, others not. Does the diagnosis of a bad motor sensor seem reasonable given the above description? Thanks.
Answer Greg, Yes, based on the information it does indeed sound like a bad control on the motor assembly and the motor would need to be replaced. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Wednesday, July 31, 2013
