However the reason it appears the motor keeps freezing up and it works temp when thawed is due to the seal aroung the plastic housing is broken and condensation is building up in it so the motor and the entire iside of the housing feezes up. Is it possible to just take all apart and dry/lubricate and reseal somehow. If not can you buy the entire assembly inside the housing and install?
Answer Becka, First thing to check, the dispenser cube door / flapper, and make sure there are no air leaks around the opening when the door is closed. Check and make sure the freezer air temperature is between 3 and 5 dgrs. F. Then Lube the motor shaft assembly with " vaseline" and install a new auger motor boot WR02X11295.
