Paul for Model Number GSS20IEPAWW Is this fan (AP4265957) the only fan in the refrigerator and is also responsible for moving air within the refrigerator cabinet or only to cool the motor? Is there a 2nd fan for the movement of the air within box?
Answer Hello Paul! There are two fans within a refrigerator. There is an evaporator fan WR60X10074 that circulates the air of both the refrigerator and/or freezer to keep the temp constant and a condensor fan WR60X10209 that draws room air to remove the heat from that are so it does not overheat.
