Terrence L. for Model Number GSS22WGPA My freezer is working fine but there is no cold air coming into the refrigerator side at all. The temp is just cool at best and I have tried to increase the colder setting without results. Is this the control board or is this a fan problem?
Answer Hi. Open the freezer door and feel in the back to see if the evaporator fan part # WR60X10074 is running. If it is then close that door and open the fresh food door. Feel inside the top left of the cabinet for incoming air through the dampener part # WR09X10050. If there is no air flow in the vents then remove the dampener assy. Disconnect the electrical connector. Manually open the inside flap top a 50% rate and block it open so your unit will return to normal temperatures until you get the new part. Remove the lower left crisper drawer and see if the is anything stuck in the return or if the flapper does not work correctly. Thank You. Read More...
