Rick Rohas for Model Number GE Refrigerator PSHS6RGXCDSS When the ice maker calls for water, a loud vibration or rattle lasts for the length of time it takes to fill the ice maker tray. I cannot tell what component is causing that. Several years ago I changed the water dispenser assembly that holds the filter, as the refrigerator made a similar rattling noise when we tried to get water dispensed from the door. Please let me know what I need to replace so I can order the part. Thank you.
Answer Rick, It would be recommended to check to make sure that the water tubing is secured to the back of the refrigerator as this could be the issue.
