Rick S. for Model Number GE DSE25JGHECWW After replacing water filter i had no water so replaced water solenoid valve, same as the original one, still no water, so ordered a water filter manifold and it came with threaded fittings on the water lines to the solenoid and my solenoid uses push in connections, so sent it back to other part place. Watching your instruction videos for water Filter manifold it has threaded water lines but the video for the water solenoid valve the water lines are push in. Can you help me?
Answer Rick, the water filter manifold will have the water supply line from the house connect to the male threaded fitting while the other fitting will go onto the threaded portion of the water valve. There will then be 5/16" tubing coming from the water reservoir WR17X11440 and a 1/4" tubing coming from the ice maker fill tube that would go into the quick connects under the valve solenoids.
