Derrick G for Model Number JTP 20B0F7BB Some of the time the oven operates normally, but at least one time every baking cycle (most of the time more) The oven stops heating, and the temperature display freezes at the last temp (example 350F) That is, until the oven is "stopped" and restarted. After it has been restarted the temp display will immediatly drop to the current temperature of the inside of the oven. I have put an ohm meter on the temp sensor and read 1088 ohms, this seems reasonable (the service info inside of the over says 1060 ohms "at room temp"). I checked for stored fault codes, but found none. To my knowledge it has never displayed one. I believe it to be a control board issue (because the temperature display "locks up", but think recognize the possibility of a faulty sensor or switch causing a malfunction, but not long enough to set a code. What are your thoughts on the issue?
Answer Derrick, Based on the information provided this issue does sound like it would be caused by a faulty control board and would need to replace part number WB27T10411. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Monday, January 16, 2017
