Mrs K for Model Number GE WASHER Sometimes the stop button must be pushed several times before it will stay on. Sometimes it will stop after filling and other times it runs straight through the cycle. Do I need to replace the stop button, the pressure switch hose or maybe the lid switch? Right now, the tub filled and didn't agitate until I pressed the start button.
Answer Mrs K, The issue is most likely going to be in the control switch(s), and not the air tube or pressure switch. A loose lid or weak lid switch could be a possibility as well.
