Jack for Model Number jtp20cf1cc I keep getting a F9 code. I'm trying to clean the oven, but half way thru I get the F9 code. I've tried disconnecting the power waiting and start over but I get the F9 code again. I believe I need a new sensor control, was is the number so I can order one?
Answer Jack, the control WB27T10411 is going to be responsible for controlling the temperature based on the reading from the sensor WB23T10015. However, the error F9 is going to indicate a cooling fan motor failure. This can occur if the fan motor behind the control is not operating, if there is an object blocking the air flow under the appliance, or if the control has failed. This can be identified by inspecting for anything blocking the vents, then pulling the unit out so that the top panel can be removed. This will allow the voltage to the fan motor to be tested when the unit is set to a clean cycle. Within just a few moments, the tan should receive 120VAC, if it does and it does not operate, the motor would need to be replaced. If it does not receive voltage, the control would need to be replaced. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Monday, August 22, 2022
