Tim for Model Number DDT595SSJSS Dishwasher will not do anything. Checked control board a solid green light is on. I see where the harness can cause problems, Which needs to be replaced the board or the harness or both?
Answer Tim, the voltage going from the machine control to the user interface would need to be tested. At the connection J722 of the machine control at the bottom, there should be 13.5VDC from the black/green wire at pin 2 to the yellow/blue wire at pin 5. If there is not, the machine control would need to be replaced. If there is, the user interface would need to be tested. There should be 13.5VDC from the black/green wire at pin 1 to the yellow/blue wire at pin 2. If there is, the user interface has failed. If there is not voltage, the wire harness has failed. The part numbers for each would be dependent on the number in between the J and the SS at the end of the model number and would be necessary for accuracy. Read More...
