Joseph Stasion for Model Number jgb810set1ss the electrode on my g.e.gas range on the front right burner will not ignite. you can hear a sparking sound ,but no spark. the other burners do work. what part do i need to fix this.?
Answer Joseph, If you haven't yet, check and make sure the igniter, burner base and burner cap and area is clean and free of any spillage or corrosion, Look closely at the igniter and check it for any cracks nicks or chips in the porcelain insulator. Then raise the cooktop and check the ignition wire to make sure it's not damaged, frayed or pinched to the metal frame. If all's OK, then replace the spark module. Read More...
