The Lint Screen Housing is an OEM replacement part for LG dryers. It serves as the enclosure that holds the lint screen or filter, which plays a crucial role in capturing lint and preventing it from accumulating inside the dryer. This housing  measures approximately 17 in x 12 in,

Symptoms of needing to replace the lint screen housing include:

  • Difficulty in removing or inserting the lint screen

Jackie for Model Number kenmore elite 91852

The guide cover for the lint filter for our kenmore elite gas dryer (#91852) is cracked on the right edge and causes our clothes to catch and then rip. The dryer has been discontinued and I am trying to find a replacement guide cover that will fit. I still have the 4 screws so I won't need to order them. However, there is an adhesive-backed, black foam strip that goes around the guide cover. Do you have those as well? I think I need a replacement guide cover and the adhesive foam strip. Please help? TIA

Answer

Jackie, if the full model number for your appliance could be provided in a new inquiry, this will allow for the most accurate data possible. However, if the manufacturer has discontinued the item without providing an approved substitute part number, any alternative part number could not be guaranteed to fit properly.
