Jack February 13, 2021 for Model Number LG Dryer model DLGX3371W The lint filter cover has broken because clothes got caught on it. Is the cover the only item I need or do I need the guide as well? And on this model, can I just unscrew it from the inside of the unit?
1 Answer Jack, the guide should not be needed unless it has been damaged. The lint filter cover MCK49049101 would have the two screws removed from inside the drum and it would lift up and out. Jackie July 22, 2019 for Model Number kenmore elite 91852 The guide cover for the lint filter for our kenmore elite gas dryer (#91852) is cracked on the right edge and causes our clothes to catch and then rip. The dryer has been discontinued and I am trying to find a replacement guide cover that will fit. I still have the 4 screws so I won't need to order them. However, there is an adhesive-backed, black foam strip that goes around the guide cover. Do you have those as well? I think I need a replacement guide cover and the adhesive foam strip. Please help?
