Ernie for Model Number LG DLE2532W Dryer has no heat. Checked all thermos and found that one was bad (AP44440975) and replaced. Two cycles later it blew again. All ducting is very clean. Also checked thermistor (AP44441539) and it is reactive to temp. change. What else could it be?. Please advise.
Answer Hello Ernie. Check and make sure the unit is cycling off and on the heater. You will need to read the temperature coming out of the vent pipe on the back of the dryer. If it is not, you will need to replace the thermistor 6323EL2001B. You can test this with a multi-meter with themperature TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. Hope this helps. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...
