Monte H for Model Number Kenmore Elite 79572033112 I need to replace my ice maker AEQ73110203 made by OH SUNG. It is like the one pictured except I have two female connectors. One is eight pin and the other is nine pin. The ice maker pictured for this part number has one large connector. This is the same situation on other parts distributor pages on which I have looked. My refrigerator is 4 years old. Did the connectors change along the way?
Answer Monte, If you did not remove the complete auger housing when removing the wiring then you are only seeing what is connecting to the icemaker and the larger plug in will be located behind that housing. You will remove the 2 screws at the bottom under where the ice bin sits and and 2 screws on the wall under the icemaker to remove the auger cover. This icemaker will be the correct one for your unit.
