John for Model Number WT7600HKA This is a LG top loading washing machine, Model WT7600HKA. The clutch drive shaft that attaches to the washer plate sheared off. I replaced the Washing machine clutch and reattached the washer plate. Now there is a ratcheting sound when the clutch engages for agitating, and some ratcheting sound when it first begins to spin. I am wondering if this could be caused by a faulty clutch motor. I am not getting any error codes, and other than the noise, the machine washes normally.
