Dennis S for Model Number DLGX3701V Gas dryer Just took delivery of the LG dryer. Needed to convert to LP gas. Got the control valve out, replaced the orifice, and started to close the white valve per instructions when the while plastic valve snapped. Barely put any pressure on it. Can this part be replaced or do you have to replace the entire valve assembly? Also, how do you know if the valve is closed all the way as the conversion instructions tell you to do? Is the lock nut on the white plastic valve the closure limit or do you need to remove the lock nut to get fuel closure? thanks.
Answer Hello Dennis, you would need to replace the gas valve assembly at this point, part 5221EL2002A, for LP gas supply the white screw on the pressure regulator is turned clockwise till the locknut just bottoms out and the Nat gas orifice is changed to the LP gas orifice.
