Chad for Model Number DLG5966W The gas burner is not igniting. Ignitor glows, but gas doesn't turn on and so no heat. Gas valve coils test at 1.9 kohm. Is this a bad valve or a sensor assembly (AP 4443773)? Is there a test for the sensor assembly?
Answer Chad, as the ignitor is glowing, the dryer is trying to call for heat. As this is the case, either the main control EBR36858802 is not sending 90VDC (testing can be done at connection YL3) to the coils or there is a broken wire. Read More...
