Geoff Leslie for Model Number LG f1496ad5 After replacing a new set of bearings and seal onto the drum shaft, and re-assembling the washer/dryer, we couldn't get the Rotor back on to the Stator Motor, what could be the problem?
Answer Geoff, The rotor has to go on a certain way and because there are magnets on the rotor that will stick to the magnets of the stator then it will make it more difficult to get it to slide back on. You will want to make sure that you align it properly and then have someone push on the inner tub while someone pushes the rotor in place should allow it to go on. Read More...
