Trent for Model Number Wm2801hra I'm trying to replace the rotor sensor on the starter. I've removed the 17 mil bolt, but can't get the rotor to budge!! I've had it off a couple of times before to replace the tub bearings, and had no problem then!! I don't really want to pry it off if I don't have too!! Any ideas??? Thanks, Trent
Answer Trent, if the shaft that the rotor attaches to had any burs, this can cause the rotor to seize onto the shaft. Usually wiggling the rotor on opposite sides can help to remove the rotor. Prying the rotor off is not recommended as the magnetic plates can be damaged. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Friday, March 20, 2020
